I know I posted this already, but I think scale nails are a perfect subtle way to bring badassery to an otherwise very feminine and soft dress and occasion.

Step 1. materials: pink (or any other desired background color, perhaps dothraki blue?), gold, and clear polish. Also, binder reinforcement stickers.

Step 2. Apply several coats of pink polish, waiting to dry between each layer.

Step 3. Set aside 20 reinforcement stickers.

Step 4. Press on two reinforcement stickers per nail, making an upside down scallop effect so that they meet to a sharp point in the middle of the nail.  (don’t reuse stickers for multiple nails, they lose their stick and things get messy)

Step 5. Paint several layers of gold textured polish, dabbing so that no polish seeps underneath the stickers. Let dry and peel stickers off carefully.

Step 6. Enjoy your gold dragon scale tipped nails!
